Obituary for Helen Robinson (Gummo) Helen M. Robinson, 99, Altoona, formerly of Bellwood, died Sunday evening July 1, 2018 at Hillview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 6, 1919 in Antis Township a daughter of the late Lingle T. “Link” and Amelda L. (Estep) Gummo. On April 16, 1936 she married Paul L. “Robby” Robinson in Cumberland, Md.

and he preceded her in death on January 15, 2009 Surviving are five daughters, Gloria L. Smith of Altoona, Rhonda L. (Ed) Ripka of Bellefonte, Judy A. Cunningham of Duncansville, Vicki K Caber and Robyn L. Vandevander both of St. Petersburg, Fla; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren; and a brother, Donald (Barbara) Gummo of Tipton; She was preceded in death by two sister, Shirley Chiofar and Dorothy Welch; and a brother, Barney. Helen enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching courtroom reality television shows. She especially loved spending time with her children and all of her grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 11am – 1pm, Friday, July 6, 2018 at Jon C Russin Funeral Home, Inc. Bellwood. A funeral service will be held at 1pm Friday at the funeral home, Pastor Gloria Montgomery officiating. Interment will be at Antis Cemetery, Antis Township.
