Obituary for Helmut “Hal” Baus Baus, Helmut “Hal” of St. Genevieve, Missouri was born February 2, 1924, in Wuppertal, Germany to Fredrick and Clara (nee Bente) Baus and entered into rest Saturday, June 23, 2018 in Farmington, Missouri at the age of 94 years. He is proceeded in death by his parents and his wife Marjorie Baus. He is survived by, One (1) daughter, Susan (Joseph) Vaughan, Four (4) grandchildren, Karen (Dennis) Marshall, Teresa Conroy, Katie (Scott) Carpenter and David (Michelle) Vaughan, Ten (10) great grandchildren, Danielle, Austin, Savannah, Skylar, Aiden, Abbie, Eva, James, Davina and Raphael, and many other friends.

Helmut was a very active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Farmington, Missouri. He enjoyed all church activities and was a trustee for nine years. Helmut loved his family and his church family.

He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri. Memorial donations may be made to the Endowment Fund of St. Paul Lutheran Church 608 E. Columbia St. Farmington, Missouri.
