Obituary for Clarence C. Bast Bast, Clarence C., of Hillsboro, Missouri was born November 11, 1929 in St. Louis, Missouri, to Emil and Rosie (nee Hook) Bast and entered into rest, Monday, June 11, 2018 at the age of 88 years. He is proceeded in death by his parents and four siblings, Shirley Stipek, Wilbert Bast, Elmer Bast, Alvin Bast and Loretta Duran. He is survived by his loving wife Carol (nee Leonard) Bast, Five (5) Children, David Bast, Larry (Kathy) Bast, Ronald (Robin) Bast, Karen (John) Kuenzle and James Bast, Nine (9) Grandchildren, Eleven (11) Great Grandchildren, One (1) Brother, Emil Bast Jr., and many other family and friends.

Clarence was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. Clarence was an all-around handyman, he enjoyed remodeling and building homes and working on utility trailers. Clarence and his wife Carol enjoyed traveling, camping and dancing.

He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri. Service Friday, June 15, 2018 at 12:00 noon at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY.

Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association 9370 Olive Blvd. St. Louis, Missouri 63132-3253.
