Obituary for Christina Marie Hanks Hanks, Christina Marie, of House Springs, Missouri, was born July 13, 1961, in Belleville, Illinois to Francis and Norma Jean (nee Murphy) Donahue and entered into rest Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the age of 57 years and 15 days. She is preceded in death by her father, one grandson, Jason Ramsey and one sister Hope Donahue. She is survived by her mother Norma Jean and her loving husband of 33 years, Paul Hanks, Two (2) children, Jessica (Chris) Gates and Sarah (Ryan) Basler, Five (5) grandchildren, McKenzie, Grace, Connor, Isabelle and Benton, Six (6) siblings, Anne Forrester, Bernie Donahue, David Donahue, Ellie Berkompas, Francene Donahue and Grace Donahue, Many other family and friends.

Christina enjoyed traveling the country and riding on the Harley. She gave many years volunteering her time to Girl Scouts and other various non-profit organizations. Christina had a passion for history and received a Master’s degree in secondary Education.

She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 4:00 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY KIRKWOOD, 10301 Big Bend Road, Kirkwood, Missouri 63122. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Humane Society would be appreciated.
