Obituary for William “Ed” Sidwell William “Ed” Sidwell Sidwell, William “Ed”, of Valley Park, Missouri was born December 5, 1942, in Fulton, Missouri, to William and Emma (nee Ortcutter) Sidwell, and entered into rest, Sunday, June 17, 2018, at his residence in Valley Park, Missouri, at the age of 75 years, 6 months and 12 days. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Michael Sidwell, and one sister-in-law Joyce Sidwell. He is survived by, His spouse, Glenda L. (nee Edelen) Sidwell, Four (4) children, Cheryl A. (Mark) Wood of Kokomo, Indiana, Carolyn J. (Gerald) Martin of Valley Park, Missouri, William Darin (Elizabeth) Sidwell of Dittmer, Missouri, and Barb (Dale) Westerhold of Afton, Missouri, eight (8) grandchildren, Josh (Mandy) Shinkle, Austin Martin, Logan Martin, Danny Hartman, Hayley Sidwell, Jacob Wood, Jenna Martin, William James Michael Sidwell, and Cody Westerhold, One (1) great grandchild, Keegan Shinkle Two (2) siblings, Robert L. Sidwell of Osage Beach, Missouri, and Pamela A. (Tom) Hudson of Dallas, Texas, and many other family and friends.
William loved traveling, music, playing the steel guitar, politics and being with family. He was an inventor and alderman of Valley Park and he helped get the levee in Valley Park. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
