Herbert Alvin Page, 86, passed away Wednesday January 2, 2019 at Oakland Living Center in Rutherfordton. Born December 11, 1932 in Rutherford County, he was a son of the late James Herbert Page and Thelma Jones Page. He was retired from Dover Textiles and was a member of Waco Baptist Church.

He loved bass fishing and was a veteran of the US Army after serving during the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his wife, Janice Barrett Page; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Wanda Page of Forest City; two brothers, James Page and wife Annie Mae of Forest City and William Henry Page and wife Merlene of Green Creek; sister, Marcella Page Greene of Shelby; two grandchildren, Zac Page and wife Estefania and Chad Cuthbertson; great grandson, Jordan Cutherbertson.

The visitation will be 1:00PM until 2:00PM Saturday at Waco Baptist Church. The funeral service will be 2:00PM Saturday at Waco Baptist Church with Dr. Harold Fite officiating. Burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park.
