Obituary for Hilda (Montini) Catalucci Hilda (Montini) Catalucci went home to be with the Lord on October 14, 2018. Hilda was 88, and was born January 15, 1930 in Aliquippa. She was the daughter of the late Eliseo and Jean (Nardick) Montini.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Dante Montini. Hilda was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church and St. Titus Confraternity of Christian Mothers. She was also an excellent cook and baker.
Hilda’s homemade sauce was her family’s favorite, and she once won a blue ribbon for her delicious peach pies. She was also an avid bowler. Hilda was affectionately known as “Meme” to her grandchildren, and her favorite pastime was spoiling them.
Hilda is survived by her beloved and devoted husband of 68 years Bernard “Bernie” Catalucci of Rochester, Pa. They have five loving children and their spouses: Brian and Lise Catalucci of Denver, Co., Norm and Laura Catalucci of Raccoon, Pa. , Jeff and Becky Catalucci of Cleveland, Oh.
, Lisa and Wendell Hill of New Galilee, Pa. , and Jeannine and Mark Lefebvre of Denver, Co. There are eight cherished grandchildren: Melissa, Jessica, Amadeus, Travis, Desiree, Ciera, Michael and Trinity, and six precious great grandchildren: Danielle, Dakota. Tallon, Wyatt, Walker and Ayla.
Hilda is also survived by a special sister Norma Montini Orsag of Rochester, Pa. , a beloved nephew, Jimmy Orsag, a sister-in-law, Barbara Montini, three nieces: Diane, Karen, and Danette, and a great nephew, Matthew. The visitation will be held Friday from 4pm till 6pm, to be followed by a brief memorial service at the Anthony Mastrofrancesco Funeral Home Inc., 2026 McMinn Street, Aliquippa, 15001 724-375-0496.
