Obituary for Hilda N. Zelaya-Ortiz Hilda N. Zelaya-Ortiz, 53, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Tita, as she was known by her family and many close friends was born on June 30, 1964 to Silvia N Riego and her late father Manuel Antonio Riego in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Tita and her family moved from Honduras in the 1990’s.

During her short life with us, she was a devoted Christian, mother and wife, a loving daughter and good sister. She was loved by everyone she met, and had an infectious spirit. Her family will always remember her laugh, her sense of humor, and her smile that was present no matter what she went through, or how much pain she was in.

In addition to her mother, Hilda is survived by her husband, Gerardo Ortiz, her 2 sons, Alejandro Zelaya and Jose Miguel Zelaya; sister, Miriam Riego; grandmother, Aurora Sanchez; and her loving family. There will be a visitation held on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 6-8 PM at Boza and Roel Funeral Home in Tampa. A Funeral Service is scheduled for 10 AM Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Faith Tabernacle Church, located at 2816 N. Nebraska Avenue, Tampa, FL 33602.
