Obituary for Hollean Owens (Stone) Mrs. Hollean Owens, age 85, of Swords Creek, Virginia, passed away Wednesday (December 26, 2018) at her home. Born February 18, 1933 in Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Sadie Vanover Stone. She was a 1952 graduate of Big Creek High School.
Survivors include her husband of twenty-one years, Garmon Owens of the home; one sister, Marie Pell; three brothers, Bob Stone, Kent Stone, and Larry Stone. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Eddie Street and Bro.
Jimmy Hess officiating. Interment will follow in Ketron Memorial Gardens at Lebanon, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Jeff Shelton, Jared Shelton, Justin Shelton, and Jack Ward.
