Poling, Horace Eugene, 82 of Springfield passed away October 5, 2018 in Oakwood Village. He was born in Springfield, Ohio on February 10, 1936, the son of Forest and Florence Poling. He was a 1954 graduate of Springfield High School.

He served his country in the US Air Force. Eugene retired with over 30 years of service from Navistar. He was an active member of Southgate Baptist Church.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Beverly Ann Poling. Survivors include his children Tammy (Stephen) Deneca and Mark (Julie) Poling; grandchildren Amanda Deneca (Justin Blackwell), Jacob (Liz) Deneca, Lindsey (Joe) Fisher and Kyle (Julia) Poling; great-grandchildren Hayley and Jackson Deneca, Elijah and Jonah Poling and Bryce Fisher. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
