Ida’s Obituary Mrs. Ida Robbins Higdon, age 68, of Davisboro, died on Saturday, January 19, 2019 in an Augusta hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26, in Brownwood Cemetery, in Sandersville. Reverend Danny Thomas will officiate.

Mrs. Higdon was a native of Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Granville and Verna Robbins. She was an owner operator truck driver and a former bus driver for the Washington County Board of Education. She attended the Church of God.

Survivors include: children, Michael Rogers of Sandersville, Roseanne Rogers of Tennille, Rebecca Rogers of Davisboro, James Rogers of Davisboro, Shaunna Rogers of Pittsville Wisconsin, Cheryl Rogers of Marshfield Wisconsin and Jenny Trick of Argonne, Wisconsin; eighteen grandchildren; and a great grandchild. The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 10:00 until 12 noon on Saturday. May and Smith Funeral Directors in Sandersville is in charge of the arrangements.
