Obituary for Ira Brent “Snoopy” Minton Ira Brent “Snoopy” Minton, age 63, of New Market TN, born January 2, 1955, passed away on May 4, 2018. He was surrounded by family and friends. Though his battle with cancer was short, he lived a full life of faith, love, and travel.

He will be remembered by those who knew and loved him for his outgoing personality, ability to make others laugh, and his “take me or leave me” attitude. Though our time with him was too short, we know he is with his Lord and now has his wings. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira “Crook” and Georgia Lou Minton.

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Linda Minton; sisters, Gaye (Bryan) Maggart and Veronica “Bunny” (Ronnie) Hicks; children, Danyelle (Mike) Bachelder and Jeremy (Lynn) Minton; children by marriage, Gene (Rachel) Dorrough, Richard Dorrough, Jamie Bandy, and Tommy (Christy) Bandy; and numerous grandchildren, extended family, and friends. The family will receive friends May 12, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Fielden Funeral Home in New Market TN. Arrangements by Fielden Funeral Home in New Market.
