Irene R. Morris, 86, of Fairfield, PA, died peacefully on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Ministries in Emmitsburg She was born on March 23, 1932 in Myersdale, PA. She was the loving and devoted wife of 65 years to Francis “Frank” P. Morris. Irene was retired as a licensed practical nurse and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fairfield.

Surviving in addition to her husband are daughters, Barbara M. Cooper of Sykesville, Nancy M. Butler of Annapolis, and Mary F. Wagner of Columbia; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 256 Tract Rd. Fairfield, PA with Rev.

Christopher Onyeneke as celebrant. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 30th from 6-8 p.m. at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 210 W. Main St., Emmitsburg, MD.
