Obituary for Iris M. Eggers (Ely) Private family services will be held for Iris M. (Ely) Eggers, 87, of Mentor. Mrs. Eggers passed away peacefully on Friday, April 13, 2018 in her home. Born December 12, 1930 in Willoughby, she was a lifelong Lake County resident.

She was loved dearly by her family and friends and enjoyed her many grand and great grandchildren. Survivors are her children, Linda Maxwell, Sandy (Jim) Stefanik, Randy Weyandt, Thomas (Carol) Weyandt, Debra Kamp and Theresa Smith, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loving sisters-in-law, Mae Pendleton and Gay Gobble. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett, on September 2, 2014 and her son, Kenneth Weyandt on November 4, 2002.

Her parents, Ira Franklin and Mary Teresa (Quick) Ely and siblings are also deceased. Final resting place will be in Mentor Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to Grace Hospice, 7314 Industrial Park Boulevard, Mentor, OH 44060.
