Obituary for Isabel Flores Sullivan City – Isabel Flores, 81, entered eternal rest on Friday, July 13, 2018 at McAllen Medical Center. Isabel was born on Thursday, November 19, 1936 in Starr County, the son of Cecilio and Agapita (Ibañez) Flores. He was preceded in death by his parents: Cecilio and Agapita (Ibanez) Flores; siblings: Santiago Flores, Cecilio Flores, Jr., Aurora Flores Lopez, Severa Lopez, Luisa Rios, Flor Estela Herrera and Guadalupe Flores.

He is survived by his wife: Maria Otila Flores; his children: Orfelinda “Orfie” (Mario) Hernandez, Rosaura “Tuti” (Carlos) Quezada, Armando Flores, Isabel (Vickie) Flores, Jr. and Yvette (Alfonso Roel) Cornejo; sisers: Maria Cristina Villalon and Esmeralda Solis; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 with a prayer of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, LLC 1813 N. Conway Ave. , Mission.

A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Sullivan City. Interment will follow at Cuevitas Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home, LLC of Mission.
