Obituary for Isabel H. Utter North Hampton – Isabel Hobson Utter, 84, of North Hampton and Providence, RI, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, September 20, 2018 after a period of failing health. Isabel was born September 5, 1934, the daughter of the late Philip and Katherine (Dines) Hobson. She lived most of her adult life in Providence raising her children.

She took tremendous pride in her athletic abilities and was a fierce debater as part of the Wednesday Club of Providence. Her passion though, was her family. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Wilson, and her four children, Katherine of Brookline, MA, Henry and wife Nancy of Arlington, MA, Philip and wife Christine of Exeter, Benjamin and wife Kay of North Berwick, ME; two stepbrothers, John Higginson and Peter Higginson, as well as nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a plethora of young people who were at times in need of temporary long-term shelter.

You know who you are. She considered you family. She was pre-deceased by her brother, Philip Hobson, and her sister, Katherine Southworth.
