Head, 88, of Perryville, died March 17, 2019 at Independence Care Center in Perryville, MO. She was born November 18, 1930 in Silver Lake, MO, daughter of Mildred (Tucker) Pittman. She and Virgil Head were married on July 3, 1948.

He preceded her in death on October 29, 1995. Iva had worked 37 years at International Shoe Company and at Gilster Mary Lee for 9 years. She was a member of Whitewater Christian Church.

Survivors include three daughters and one son, Beth (Steve) Lukefahr, Karen (Donnie) Geile all of Perryville, Jim (Pam) Head of Altenburg and Debbie Schaaf of Perryville, seventeen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and three great great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Delmar Tucker and good friend Chalmer Blandford. Visitation will be held at Young & Sons Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 20 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm and on Thursday from 6:30 am until time of Service at 10:00 am with Pastor Ray White officiating.

Burial in Whitewater Christian Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Whitewater Christian Church. Young & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. in Perryville, MO provided the arrangements.
