Obituary for Jacinta Sheila Marie Grooms Jacinta Sheila Marie Grooms, age 67, of Bloomfield Hills, formerly of Oak Park, passed away April 18, 2018 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. She was born October 20, 1950 in Bombay, India. Beloved wife of Greg; the couple married May 1, 1976 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Detroit; loving mother of Suzanne (Damon) VanderZanden and Melanie (Eric) Whalen; dear sister of Maria, Dolly, Cyril and Olive; and proud grandmother of Brandon, Tyler, McKenna, Isabella, Abigail and Brynlee.

Visitation Friday, April 20, 2018 from 2-8 p.m. with a 6:30 p.m. scripture service at the Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Road (4 blocks E of Woodward), Royal Oak, MI 48067. In state Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of Mass 11 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 4580 Adams Road, Troy, MI 48098.
