Obituary for Jack Case Jack Allen Case, 60, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Medilodge of Portage. He was born on March 25, 1958, the son of Robert B. Case Sr. and Leta Mae (Kitchum) Prescott. Jack graduated from high school and joined the U.S. Army.

He was proud to have faithfully served from 1975 to 1977. He worked as a cook at the Wagon Wheel Inn for many years and later went on to the VA Hospital for about 10 years. Jack is survived by his Son, Jack Allen Case, Jr.; Granddaughter, Kimmy; Great-Granddaughter, Tiffany; two Brothers, Robert B. Case, Jr. and Terry Case; Sister, Laura Hale; former wife, Mable, and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and Brothers, William Case and Dennis Case. Jack loved the great outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, cooking out, and camping.

Jack really enjoyed time with his family and caring for others in his community. He was such a caring person and that care showed in the things he did for everyone around him. Jack’s warm heart and spirit will be missed by all those who knew him.

A graveside service will be held at the Fort Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Rd, on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 2:30p.m.. Memorials may be made to the Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation.
