Jack’s Obituary Jack Danks Bridgeport, MI Loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away unexpectedly Sunday January 6, 2019 at Covenant Harrison; age 74 years. Jack was born on October 13, 1944 in Saginaw, MI to the late Raymond and Stella Danks. He was married to Jan on June 11, 1966 in Saginaw, MI, she survives him.

He honorably served in the US Navy. Jack worked at Delphi for 40 years until retirement in December 2005. He was a member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church of Frankenmuth, and the Bridgeport Gun Club, where he served as president for many prosperous years.

He enjoyed hunting and was a car enthusiast, spending time driving and working on his 69 Roadrunner. Jack loved to spend time with his friends and family and was always available to help others. Surviving besides his wife Jan for over 52 years are; John (Michelle) Danks of Davison, MI, Jennifer (Matt) McDonald of Frankenmuth, MI, Janelle Wilhelm of North Pole, AK, Jackie Danks of Bridgeport, MI, grandchildren; Megan, Michael, and Jacob Danks, Brendan and Tyler McDonald, Corbin Wilhelm, Izaiah Danks, Eriyon and Elijah Burrell.

Besides his parents, Jack was preceded in death by; father-in-law Robert Edmonds, siblings; Sharon Schnell and Jim Danks, grandson; Conner Wilhelm. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 10:15 a.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. and 11:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church. Rev.

Joel Kaiser will officiate with burial at St. Lorenz cemetery between services. Jack’s family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the 10:15 a.m. service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the charity of donor’s choice.
