Jack R. Pohlman, 89, of Dublin passed away January 14, 2019 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born on April 15, 1929 in Wichita, Kansas. Jack was a 1952 graduate of The Naval Academy where he was a proud member of the Chancel Choir.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. Jack retired from Ashland Chemical Company with over 20 years of service. He was a member of the Worthington-Linworth Kiwanis Club, member of the Masonic Lodge, and a member of the Linworth United Methodist Church where he was a member of the Chancel Choir.

Jack was very proud that he had participated in church choir since the age of nine. He was steadfast in his belief in God, his family, his friends, and his country. Jack is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Marilyn Pohlman; sons, Curtis R. (LaShon) Pohlman of Lake Jackson, Texas and Bryan R. (Tara) Pohlman; grandchildren, Austin R. Pohlman, Aryca Pohlman, Anthony J. Pohlman, Audriana Pohlman, and Gabriel Pohlman.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Augustus and Ethel Pohlman. Family will receive friends on Monday, January 21, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the LINWORTH UNITED METHODIST CHURCH 7070 Bent Tree Blvd. Columbus, Ohio 43235.
