Obituary for Jackie Eugene Ellison Jackie Eugene Ellison Funeral services for Gene Ellison of Calumet will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in the Red Rock United Methodist Church. Rev. Travis Ewton & Keith Gillham will officiate.

Interment will be in the Red Rock Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home. Mr. Ellison passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 in his home.

He was born on December 10, 1940 in Hinton, OK. Gene was a lifetime Canadian County area resident He went to Hinton High School for 11 years then graduated from El Reno High School. He was a Farmer and Rancher.

Mr. Ellison served in the U.S Air Force National Guard. He was a member of the Geary Chamber of Commerce and attended Red Rock United Methodist Church. Jackie Eugene Ellison married Marcia Hix on March 9, 1963 in El Reno, OK.

Gene loved John Deere Tractors, Hunting, and his pup Lucky but most of all spending time with his family especially the Grandchildren and Great- Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents: Glenn Ellison & Cissy (Walbaum) Ellison and an infant sister, and brother Ervin Ellison. Survivors include: His wife Marcia (Hix) Ellison of the home.

Son: Jonny Glenn Ellison & wife Mary of Calumet, OK. 2 – Daughter: Pam Carel of Tuttle, OK. and Vickie Roe & husband Andy of Weatherford, OK.

8 – Grandchildren: Doug Carel, Sevie Francis, Shelby Carel, Taylor Kelley, Paige Widener, Morgan Mouse, Luke Ellison, Regan Ellison. 3 – Great Grandchildren Clark Kelley, Zayden Francis, Mark Kelley and 2 more great grandchildren on the way. Numerous other relatives and many dear friends.

Memorials may be made to the Red Rock United Methodist Church: 250 Red Rock Rd. Calumet, Ok. 73014 or to the Red Rock Cemetery: 4205 S. Cedar Rd.
