Jacqualine Petruzzi February 12, 1944 – March 07, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook NAUGATUCK Jacqualine Petruzzi “Loving Wife, Mother & Grandmother” Jacqualine (Czaja) Petruzzi, 75, of Naugatuck, left this earth suddenly on March 7, 2019. She was the loving wife of Vincent “Vinnie” J. Petruzzi of 47 years. Jackie was born in New Haven on February 12, 1944, daughter of the late Reginald “Reggie” and Alice Lawrence.

She graduated from Croft High School, class of 1962 and then worked at Bradlees in the Jewelry Department which she absolutely loved and where she made everlasting friendships. Jackie loved being by the ocean, flowers and dogs. She was a member of the Hill Street Social Club, the Aviglianese Club, both of Waterbury and the Eagle’s Club of Naugatuck.

She was an amazing friend to many and a proud grandmother to her two grandchildren who she absolutely adored. Besides her husband Vinnie, Jackie leaves behind to cherish her memory her two sons; Ted Douty and his wife Sharon and Scott Douty and his wife Carol, all of Naugatuck and her two grandchildren; Erica Douty of Plattsburgh, NY and Thomas Douty of Thomaston, CT. She also leaves her brother-in-law, Mark Petruzzi and his wife Rosalie of Bristol, her sisters-in-law, Annette Petruzzi of Waterbury, Cathy Lebel and Mark Flinter of Waterbury as well as several nieces and nephews and her two dogs; BB and GG.

Arrangements: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Waterbury. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.

Chase Parkway Memorial, The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, has been entrusted with handling Jackie’s arrangements.
