Jacquita “JQ” (Evans) Hayden June 1, 1950 – March 16, 2019 Jacquita”JQ” Hayden, born June 1, 1950, in El Dorado AR, passed from this life, Saturday, March 16, 2019 at her Wake Village TX home. She was 68 years old. Jacquita is preceded in death by her father Mitchell R Evans, mother Ivie Bell Martindale, and brother Jimmy Evans.

She is survived by her brother Jerry Debo and wife Doris of Grand Prairie. Texas; sister, Ann Sparks of Allen, Texas, and her only child Letitia (Tish) Davis Hicks and husband Alan of Wake Village TX; two grandsons, Alexander Jones of Texarkana with fiancé Nicole Mattina of Blueridge, Texas, and Vincent Hayden with fiancé Pamela Bullington both of Texarkana, Texas; great granddaughter, Aubree Hayden of Texarkana TX; great grandson Noah Tooley of Texarkana, Texas; and best lifelong friend Sallie “Emma” Cagle of South Carolina. In 2014, JQ began her battle with cancer and fought it until her death on March 16th, 2019.

She passed peacefully in her home surround by her family and with the caring support of Hospice of Texarkana. She loved life and loved people. She and her daughter were warriors against her disease along with hundreds of people who prayed for her daily.

She fought it until the end. She was her daughters hero and an inspiration to everyone she came in contact with. She moved people with her continuous smiles and positive outlook on life.

Donations to her funeral fund at Queen City Funeral Home and MD Anderson Cancer center are appreciated in lieu of flowers. A memorial service will be held on her birthday, June 1st, at the Elks Lodge on New Boston Road in Texarkana TX to celebrate the wonderful life she lived. Please check www.
