James’ Obituary James A. Schultz, 94, of Lansdale, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019 in his home, surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy (Peterman) Schultz. Born in 1924 in Lansdale, he was a son of the late Maurice H. and Anna (Bergey) Schultz.

James is preceded in death by six siblings, Florence Schultz, Victor Schultz, Maurice Schultz, Richard Schultz, Elmer Bergey, and Edward Bergey. James was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran who served proudly in World War II. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, James will be remembered for his vivid stories, his love for casinos, his tenacity at Bingo night, being an avid North Penn Football fan, his puzzle building skills, and most importantly, his love for family.

He enjoyed fishing, his many family road trips to Port Charlotte, FL. , and spending quality time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his three children, Donna Hall (Tim) of Lansdale, Jeanne Decembrino (Peter) of Sellersville, and James J. Schultz of Pennsburg; four grandchildren, Matthew (Valerie), Heather (Herbert), Taylor (Amanda), and Courtney (William); and five great-grandchildren, Bryce, Brielle, Cooper, Caleb, and Samantha.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family Friday, January 25 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale . We will celebrate the life of James A. Schultz with the Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. The interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Grand View Health Foundation in Memory of James A. Schultz.
