Stephen’s Obituary Steven C. Chorba, 32, of Lansdale, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at his residence. Born December 12, 1986, he was the loving son of Theresa “Terry” Chorba (Ed Lombard III), Lansdale and Paul “Craig” Chorba, Lansdale. He was a 2005 graduate of North Penn High School.

Steve enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and graduated from basic training in 2013. He was an active reserve United States Marine Corporal currently being promoted to Sergeant and had served a tour of duty in Honduras. Steve was currently working for United Parcel Service.

Steve participated in midget football during his youth. He enjoyed music, played the guitar and bass and volunteered for many years at the Philadelphia Folk Festival. Steve was a man of many interests and hobbies, including history, snowboarding, skate boarding and boxing.

Most of all, he loved fishing. Along with his parents, he is survived by a sister, Christy (Joe) Schell, Gilbertsville, and their children, Zander, Elise, Tanner and Kelsey. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, along with Edward and Barbara Lombard.

He is predeceased by his brother, Kyle. A viewing will begin at 9:30 a.m. Friday, January 18, 2019, at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave. , Lansdale, with Funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Interment with military honors will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
