James Allen Corcoran, 71, of Ft. Mitchell, passed away Friday, January 11, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA. A visitation will be held from 11:00-12:00 PM Monday, January 14 at the Oswichee Baptist Church in Ft.

Mitchell. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 PM in Oswichee Cemetery. Mr. Corcoran was born January 30, 1947 in Ft.

Mitchell, AL son of the late George Calhoun Corcoran and Wanel Motley Corcoran. He loved being a farmer, spending many hours before and after a regular job taking care of the family farm. He worked several years at Ft.

Benning as a heavy machine operator making lifelong friends. For many years, he and his family attended Oswichee Baptist Church in Ft. Mitchell.

Most importantly he loved his family and is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary Anne Corcoran; children, Chris Marcotte husband Jerry, James Thibodaux wife Paget and Elizabeth Darce husband Glen; brothers, George Michael Corcoran wife Carolyn, Douglas Corcoran wife Mary Jane, and Kenneth Corcoran wife Beverly; grandchildren, Erin Marcotte, Patrick Marcotte wife Emily, Emily Broussard husband Damian, Morgan Darce, Carmen Darce, Grant Darce, Jacob Thibodaux, and JJ Thibodaux; great-grandchild, Aubrey Lawrence, Beau Marcotte and Paisleigh Jade Thibodaux: many extended family members and friends.
