James Cox Sr., 56, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana. He was born on July 13, 1962 in Sullivan, Indiana the son of Steven Cox and Alice Meek Cox. Jim worked at American Latex in Sullivan for several years.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his loving wife, Teresa Day Cox, three sons; James Cox Jr. of Sullivan, Indiana, Kevin Cox of Sullivan, Indiana and Justin Cox (Kaleena) of Terre Haute, Indiana, brother, Gary Cox (Cheryl) of Carlisle, Indiana, sisters; Debbie Perkins of Dugger, Indiana and Jamie Templeton of Sullivan, Indiana and two grandchildren; Teegan and Riley Cox. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM until the service on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Brust Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Good Hope Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the funeral home.
