Obituary for James “Dennis” Walker Healdton – Funeral Services for Mr. James “Dennis” Walker, 59 of Healdton, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 7, 2018 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson with Rev. Gary Dotson officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt.

Olive Cemetery in Healdton. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson. James Dennis Walker was born January 26, 1959 to the late Mr. James L. Walker and Mrs. Elewease (Dollar) Walker in Ardmore, OK He departed from this life on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at his home in Healdton.

Dennis was initially raised in Duncan moving to Healdton in his mid school years. He graduated from Healdton High School with the Class of 1977. After graduation he joined the Oklahoma National Guard.

Mr. Walker worked with his father running heavy equipment and was a cross country truck driver for many years. Dennis loved listening to music. He had a renewed faith in the Lord and enjoyed going to church at the Lone Grove Assembly of God Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Mr. Walker is survived by his aunts; Geraldine Reeder of Hugoton, KS, Barbara Scribner of Ardmore, Joyce Griffith and husband Kenneth of Healdton, and uncle Newman Walker and wife Sue of Healdton. Numerous other relatives and host of friends.

Serving as casket bearers will be David Stewart, Tommy Tucker, Dan Johns, Gary Cook, Ethan Cox, and Greg Jean. A family visitation is scheduled for Wednesday evening from 4-6 P.M. at Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson. Online condolences may be made to www.
