James’ Obituary James Smith, Jr. was born February 06, 1952 to the late James Smith, Sr. and Bertha Lee Smith. He transitioned from his earthly home to his spiritual and sacred home on Friday, December 28, 2018. He confessed hope in Christ at an early age.

He was a member of The New St. Peter’s M.B. Church under the leadership of Apostle Walker E. Crockran. He moved to Chicago, IL in 1973 and moved back to Rosedale, MS, in July 2018. He worked as a mechanic for 40 years.
