Obituary for Mr. James E. Arsenault ATHOL – James E. ”Bone” Arsenault, 70 of 50 Exchange St. Rear, Athol, died Tuesday, June 19, 2018 in the Quabbin Valley Healthcare, Athol, MA. He was born in Winchendon, on October 4, 1947, the son of the late Edmund and the late Rita (Landry) Arsenault. James was a graduate of Athol High School with the Class of 1966.

He served during the Vietnam War in the Air Force from 1970 to 1974. He was a delivery driver for Sherwin Williams in California, worked for Poirier Line Painting, was a local bartender and worked at L. S. Starrett Company for 20 years. He was a member of the French Club of Athol, Lithuanian Club, and the American Legion Post 102 Athol.

He enjoyed playing in pool leagues, darts, pitch, softball – he was a great pitcher, bowling and golf. He enjoyed watching many sports and was a 49ers fan. He leaves one daughter: Jacqui Arsenault Buscemi and one son: Glenn “Rusty” Arsenault Three brothers: Ray Arsenault and his wife Marilyn of Gardner, MA, Robert Arsenault and his wife Kathy of Orange, MA and Gerald Arsenault and three grandchildren.

He also leaves several nieces and nephews. Beside his parents, James was predeceased by his sister Evelyn Theriault. A Calling Hour will be held Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 11am-12pm.
