Obituary for James E “Jim” Bacon Sr Funeral services for James E “Jim” Bacon Sr, 77, of Eastaboga, will be Monday, April 16, 2018, 2:00 PM in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home. Dr. C.O. Ginstead will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Bacon passed away on Friday at Regional Medical Center. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Bacon, daughters; Tammy Parker, Carlene Terrault, Georanna Schenk, James Bacon Jr, 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Mr. Bacon was native of Garden City, MI, has been around Anniston since 1958. He was retired from the US Army with 28 years of service. Jim also retired from Ford Motor Company with 43 years of service.
