Obituary for Darrell Hicks Darrell Hicks, age 57, of Wellborn was a loving and caring husband, father, brother, son, and grandfather. He was a hardworking man and family meant everything to him. Darrell was on a long hard 13 month battle with cancer on April 8, 2018 at 4:42 AM he was called home to be with his mother, Bessie Hicks, father, Gibson Hicks Sr, brother, Gibson Hicks Jr, Charles Hicks and the Lord.

Survivors include his wife, Karen “Beebee” Hicks, daughters; Toni Coleman (Robbie), Christy Dupree (Deon), Kimberly Bean (Frank) Kendra Hicks, sisters; Pam Holbert, Nancy Cobb – Fosyth, Patricia Geiger, brother, Paul Hicks, grandchildren; Hayden, Deon Jr, Alexis, Breanna, Landon, Davon, several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Deon Dupree, Deon Dupree Jr, Jr Forsyth, Roger Willingham, Doug Darrin, Brian Wilkerson and Hawk Cotton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Hayden Coleman and Dylan Howard.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 12, 2018, 2:00 PM. The Rev. Jonathan Heathcock will be officiating.
