Obituary for James Edward Moore James Edward Moore, 86, of Lebanon, husband of Dorothy Winningham Moore passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at his residence. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation from 6 o’clock to 8 o’clock on Friday, October 19, 2018 at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 1 o’clock on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at James A. Dyal Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Rudd Branch Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Rudd Branch Cemetery, 1222 White House Rd. , Summerville, SC 29486.

James was born on August 13, 1932 in Berkeley County, SC, son of the late Edward and Effie Moore. He was a veteran of the US Airforce and served in the Korean War. He retired from Naval Weapon Station as a Forestry Technician after 31 years.

He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors including his wife Dorothy are: one son: James Edwin Moore of Lebanon; two granddaughters: Samantha Reese (Justin) of Summerville and Abigail Moore (Aaron Rice) of Summerville; great grandson: Toren Reese; two sisters: Louise Hill and Jessie Mae Brooks both of Lebanon. He was predeceased by three brothers: Marvin Reed Moore, Cleveland Moore and Victor Moore; one sister: Bertha Welch.
