James F. “Jimmy” Brown, 63, of Adrian, died Saturday, May 12, 2018, at his home. He was born April 3, 1955, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late James T. and MaryAnn Brown. He was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Adrian.

Jimmy proudly served in the Army, in the HHC 2-503RD D Infantry, 101st Airborne Division. Jimmy enjoyed motorcycles and restoring antique cars. He was also an avid ham radio operator, which reached all over the world.

He enjoyed woodworking and making things with his hands. He loved dogs, cats, and had a big heart. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Georgia; daughter, Jennifer Smith; granddaughter, Serena Shotts; sister, Corinna (Charles) Stonage; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Following his wishes there will be no viewing.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2018, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Adrian, with the Rev. Carl Johnson officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Cowansville.
