James F. Stringer,78, entered into rest Friday, December 28, 2018 at his residence in Lexington, SC. James a native of Jefferson, Georgia lived most of his life in Martinez and Augusta, he served in the US Air Force and owned and operated AOL Out Fitters in Augusta, was a member of Augusta Canoe and Kayaking Club. Survivors include his son Russell Stringer, daughters Renee White (Gregory), Stacy Schondelmayer (David), brother Joel Stringer (Sherill), two grandchildren Destiny and Kathleen.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 4:00 pm at McNeill Funeral Home with Reverend Phillip A. Winsett officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service.
