OBITUARY James Lester Mabe August 10, 1951 – November 5, 2018 James Lester Mabe, age 67 of Tazewell, TN passed away on Monday November 5, 2018 at Claiborne Medical Center. He was born on August 10, 1951. Lester worked for Vulcan Materials before retiring after working for 38 years.

he loved to hunt and fish in his spare time. He was preceded in death by his first wife Roberta Mabe, his parents Clarence and Tinnie Mabe, brothers Herman, Earl, and Parlon Mabe, sisters Annette Chadwell and Onalee Hayes and step-son-in-law Donald Robinson. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Wanda Mabe.

Step-daughters Martha Ayers and Crissy Robinson. Step-sons Donald and Michael Horton. Step-grandson Hunter Ayers.

Brothers Lewis and wife Joann Mabe and Lawrence and wife Ada Mabe. Sisters Sally and Rev. Willard Wilder and Kay and Bob Shoffner.

He had two fur babies “Digger” and “Katie Ann”. He also leaves behind many relatives and friends that he thought so much of. Services will be at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell with Rev.

Willard Wilder and Rev. Keith Cinnamon presiding. Music by Truly Blessed.

Visitation will be on Wednesday November 7, 2018 from 5 until 7 PM, with funeral services to follow at 7 PM. Burial will be in Margrave Cemetery on Thursday November 8, 2018 at 2 PM. Pallbearers will be Mike Mabe, Junior Mabe, Mark Wilder, Junior Maples, Joe Shoffner and Coffey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
