Obituary for James Hanigan James “Patrick” Hanigan, 66, of Westminster, passed away suddenly at his home in Westminster, MD on July 8, 2018. Born July 12, 1951 in Olney, MD, he was the son of the late Michael and Ruth (Burdette) Hanigan and the loving husband of Lynn Hanigan. Pat served his country honorably in the US Army Reserves.

In his younger days he played bass guitar in a Rock & Roll Band. Pat worked in information technology at Elenchus. He was an avid Steeler’s Fan and was a member of the Steeler’s Fan Club of Maryland.

He was a devoted husband, loving father and adoring grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Pat is survived by two daughters: Christin Lee Hanigan of Baltimore, MD, Darby Song Jollie and husband Jeremy of Hampstead, MD; son, Joshua Sun Lee Hanigan and daughter-in-law, Katlynn Wilmore of Taneytown, MD; two grandchildren: Anna Song Jollie and Levi Jameson Hanigan.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Eline Funeral Home, 2901 Bloom Road, Finksburg, MD. A celebration of Pat’s life will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home with Pastor Rod Wilkening officiating. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
