James Patrick Devlin, 53, formerly of Phenix City, AL died Saturday, June 9 at his residence in Tuscaloosa, AL. Graveside services will be held at 10:00am EST, on Friday, June 15, 2018, at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Rev. Andrew Spires officiating.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5:00 to 8:00PM at Vance Memorial Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL. Pat was born December 11, 1964, in Columbus, GA, son of the late F.A. “Pete” Devlin and Virginia Gordon Devlin. Pat had a love for life, Alabama football, family and his many friends.

Always a salesman at heart, he was employed by McStitches in Tuscaloosa. Survivors include: His sister, Sheila Devlin Barbaree and husband Jerry of Phenix City, AL ; His brother, Larry Devlin and wife Kathy of Smiths Station, AL ; niece Paige Barbaree Harford and husband John of Columbus, GA ; nephew Shane Barbaree and wife Leigh Ann of Phenix City, AL ; nephew Dave Devlin and wife Brooke of Columbus, GA; great nephews Jack Harford, Brooks Barbaree, Robert Harford, Price Devlin and great niece Delaney Devlin. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in memory of Pat to The Chattahoochee Valley Down’s Syndrome Association PO Box 214 Columbus, GA 31902 or Fore Kids 403 42nd St. Columbus, GA 31904.
