James Quinn, 72 of Valparaiso, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018. He was born January 1, 1946 in Alencon, France, the son of Roy and Georgette (Pare’) Quinn. James was a Police Union Representative and a member of the Federal Order of Police.

He is survived by his wife, best friend and love of his life, who he married August 15, 1992 in Pentwater, MI. Also surviving are his children, Erin Newman of Pennsylvania, Brett (Jessica) Quinn of Massachusetts, 4 grandchildren and 3 sisters, Margaret Quinn, Michelle Quinn and Jackie Quinn all of Michigan. He was preceded in death by his daughter Keri Quinn, his parents and a sister Pat Bensinger.

James loved to golf and was a large supporter of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and Wounded Warriors. A Private Celebration of his life will be held. Memorial Donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in his memory.
