James Richardson I Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, January 25, 2019, Mr. James Edward Richardson, I, 78, loving husband to Linda F. Richardson for 49 years. Mr. Richardson was raised in Georgia and current resident of Monetta, SC. He retired from G & R Electric Company.

Family members, in addition to his wife, include his sons: James E. Richardson, II and the late Jerry Andrews Richardson; daughter: Lisa Faye Sparks (Randy); sister: Dorothy (Dot) McZilkey (Leonard); stepchildren: Eddie Blaxton, Jerry Blaxton and Melinda Blaxton; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mark Joiner and Rev.

Lamar Holley officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service in the fellowship hall of the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Piney Grove Baptist Church, 5060 Mike Padgett Hwy, Augusta, GA 30815 or Kidstuff, P.O. Box 1379, Lawrenceville, GA 30046.
