Sondy Ingram Lawrence Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, January 21, 2019, at University Hospital, Sondy I. Lawrence, 77. Sondy was born in Phoenix, AZ and raised in Wichita, KS. He formerly owned Sondy’s Pizza and Lawrence Appraisal.
Sondy was a faithful member of West Acres Baptist Church for 35 years. He was actively involved with missions in India. Sondy was a member of Gideon’s International.
He enjoyed flying his Ultralight airplane. Sondy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jennie Sue and his siblings, Shirley Gartung and Craig Lawrence (Carol Lawrence (Calvert)). Family members include his children: Eric Ingram Bollig (Michelle); Holly Lawrence Williams (Brittany); Alexander Ingram Lawrence (Amber); Siblings: Joyce Shaw; Marticia Meier (Larry); Stan Lawrence (Dian); Conrad Lawrence (Kay); Victor Lawrence (Larisa); Grandchildren: Jocelyn; Jessica; Jerica; Eli; Ellyssa; Hadley; Law; Georgia Ann and many extended family members.
Special thanks to his caregiver and friend, Zina McNeil. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. at West Acres Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Harmon officiating. Interment will follow at Abilene Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbears will be Patrick Rivett, Wayne Stoltzfus, Jim Kuhn, Terry Little, Ron Carter, David Rawlins, Trevon McDaniel, and Tracy McDaniel.
