James Ross Jamison Jr., 69, of Washington Twp. , Butler Co., went to be at peace on May 1, 2018. Jim was born to Air Force parents, James R Jamison Sr., and Helen Elizabeth (Ealy) Jamison in Biloxi, Mississippi on December 30, 1948.

He was raised in many places but always called Pennsylvania home. In his younger years, he was a member of Concord Presbyterian Church and active in his community as a lifetime member of the North Washington Volunteer Fire Dept. and also a member of the Chicora Masonic Lodge.

He was a scout leader and took great pride in the achievements of his scouts. Jim loved sports, especially Nascar and Steeler Football. He enjoyed being the announcer at Sportmans Speedway in Knox.

Jim was kept busy for several years suppling the needs of his son’s racing garden tractor as well as working to build his business, Jamison’s Auto Sales since 1992. He worked hard and was able to build a reputation for being a fair and honest man. He especially loved his family and was always happy to see the grandchildren and go places with them.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Ice Jamison whom he married in Aug. 1986. They raised six sons together, Jaison R. Jamison of Washington twp.

, Mark (Eva) Van Lieu of Cherry Valley, Don (Lisa) Van Lieu of Parker, Matt (Jennifer) Jamison of Parker, Eight grandchildren; Emily and Jolie Van Lieu, Corey Van Lieu and Kaylie Van Lieu Carr, Alexandra, Maddox, Blaine and Jaycob Jamison, two great grandchildren; Kadyn and Jacey Carr, two brothers; Fred (Christine) Jamison of Melbourne Australia and George (Joanne) Jamison of Folsom, Ca. One sister; Edna Jamison of Yuba City, Ca. Jim was preceded in death by his son, Scott Jamison and Step-son, Robert Van Lieu as well as his parents James and Helen, grandparents and multiple aunts and uncles.

Friends and family will be received Friday, May 4th from 2-4 and 6-8pm at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 So. Washington St., Eau Claire.
