James Thomas “Tommy” Tinsley, 61, of Adolphus, KY passed away Monday, March 25, 2019 at the Medical Center at Scottsville. The Bowling Green, KY native was a former employee of Shoney’s and Federal Mogul, former member of Roman’s Road Baptist Church in Bowling Green and attended Freedom Hill Church and Faith Assembly Pentecostal Church. He was a son of the late Roy Tinsley and Nora Elizabeth Borders.

He is survived by his wife: Cynthia Tinsley, Adolphus, KY; 2 step sons: William Leonard and Edward Leonard, both of Adolphus, KY; 1 special daughter: Lennox Wright, Scottsville, KY; 1 special brother: Norman Cartwright and wife, Bertie, Bowling Green, KY; 3 special grandchildren. Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Casteel officiating and cremation to follow.

Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
