O.L. “Goober” Meador, 73, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Holland, KY native was a member of Highland Baptist Church and a son of the late Hershel Odell “Fish” Meador and Edith Elizabeth Wix Meador and husband of the late Brenda Scruggs Meador. He is survived by 1 son: Terry Meador and wife, Angela Faith, Celina, TN; 6 brothers: Joe Meador and Hershel Meador (Pauline), all of Lafayette, TN; Hoover Meador (Mary); Bobby Meador; Cordell Meador; Jackie Meador (Samantha), all of Scottsville, KY; 5 sisters: Margie Yokley and Willie Mae Russell, both of Fountain Run, KY; Carolyn Goodrum; Elaine Banks; Rosie Thrasher (Jimmy), all of Scottsville, KY; 8 grandchildren: Cody Meador, Jackie Meador, Dylan Meador, Brenda Meador, Lola Biggs, Daren Biggs, Chase Connor and Ashley Wimberly (Devin); 3 great grandchildren: Zeppelin Cole Meador, Kaydie Ford and Addelle Ford; He was preceded in death by 1 brother: Forest Meador and 1 sister: Virginia Ann Meador.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Freddie Graves officiating and burial in Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday and after 7:00 A.M. Friday at Goad Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
