Sue Spurlock Young, 87, of Scottsville, KY passed away Sunday, March 17, 2019 at her residence. The Scottsville, KY native was a retired secretary and member of Scottsville Church of Christ. She was a daughter of the late William Russell Spurlock and Willis Carter Spurlock and wife of the late Ralph Daron Young.

She is survived by 1 son: David Young and wife, Lisa, Champaign, IL; 1 daughter: Brenda Y. Reilly, Bowling Green, KY; 4 grandchildren: Josh Young and wife, Rachael; Joseph Young; Rachel Young and Ethan Young Reilly and wife, Ashley; 4 great grandchildren: Landen Young, David Young, Ryker Reilly and Charlie Reilly; Several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 6 brothers and 5 sisters. Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2019 at New Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery with Chris Robinson officiating.

There will be no visitation. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
