James Warren Stewart, 71, formerly of Mount Ayr, Iowa and Creston, Iowa peacefully entered into eternal rest on Friday evening, February 15, 2019 at his Shenandoah home. A celebration of life funeral service for James will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Nishna Valley Funeral Home at 11:00 AM. The family will greet relatives and friends with visitation two hours prior to the service at the funeral home Thursday beginning at 9:00 AM.

Burial with military honors will take place in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Shenandoah. Memorials in James’ name are being directed to the family. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Linda (Brown) Stewart; their two children, Madena Silence and Travis Stewart and his wife Tiffany; five grandchildren; one great grandson; other relatives and many friends.
