James’ Obituary James Waymon “Jimmy” Dunn, 75, of Dyersburg, TN passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at his residence. He was born on April 27, 1943, in Minnick, TN, to the late J.W. and Alice Aileen James Dunn. Jimmy was the retired owner of Village Exxon and was a member of West Dyersburg Church of Christ.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2019 at Dyersburg Funeral Home. Cremation services are under the direction of Dyersburg Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Nancy Walker Dunn of Dyersburg; a daughter, Lisa Scott and husband, Jimmy, of Dyersburg; a son, Kevin Dunn and wife, Sherry, of Troy; a sister, Janice Roberson and husband, Macie, of Tiptonville; two grandchildren, Ashley Dunn and Justin Dunn, both of Roellen; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Kyle Scott. Memorials may be directed to Caris Healthcare or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
