Jamie S. Waltemath age 57 of Sturgis, Michigan passed away Monday afternoon May 28, 2018 at Heartland Health Care Center in Three Rivers, Michigan. She was born May 16, 1961 in Sturgis, Michigan daughter of the late Estol O. “Red” and Letha J. (Wagar) Conrad. Jamie was a lifelong Sturgis resident and a graduate of Sturgis High School with the class of 1979.

Jamie had a love and appreciation for music and enjoyed bowling and had participated in league bowling for many years.

She is survived by her husband: Christopher; two sons: T.J. Harker and Zachary Kayner both of Sturgis; one grandson: Drake “Bonk” Harker; one sister: Rusty (Jim) Earley of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; one brother: Rob Conrad of Mottville and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister: Sandra Lee Conrad. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place.

A memorial service celebrating and honoring the life of Jamie Sue Waltemath will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the Hackman Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 114 S. Nottawa St., Sturgis, MI 49091, 269-651-2331. The Rev. Bob Renner of the Sturgis Missionary Church will officiate.

A graveside committal will follow the service at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sturgis. The family suggests those wishing to make a memorial donation in Jamie’s memory consider Heartland Hospice, 8075 Creekside Dr., #120, Portage, MI 49024. The obituary is also at www.
