Jane P. Allshouse, 97, of Murrysville went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, November 21, 2018. She was born September 16, 1921 in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late William G. and Hazel Roberta Gauger Phillips. In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David “Hal” Allshouse.

She lived in the South Hills. After she was married, she moved to East McKeesport. In 1962, Jane and her husband, Hal settled in Murrysville.

She was a member of the Murrysville Alliance Church where she served as Deaconess for many years. Prior to retirement, Jane was an office manager and later became a realtor. She was a Girl Scout leader and volunteered at the Friend’s Thrift Shop, THEOS, and the Murrysville Senior Center.

She also volunteered as treasurer at the Reformed Presbyterian Church. Jane enjoyed crafts and breeding Springer Spaniel dogs. She is survived by a daughter, Susan (Joseph) Simpson; a son, David Allshouse; four grandchildren; Timothy Simpson, Bethany (Bruce) Weaver, Daniel (Kaycee) Simpson and David Allshouse III.

Jane is also survived by four great-grandchildren; Katelyn, Kristin, Eliana and Abigail Simpson. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Hart Funeral Home Inc., Murrysville with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jerry Wages officiating. Interment will be in Eastview Union Cemetery, Delmont.
